There are plenty of fantastic places to break a sweat near King’s Cross. Here’s our favourites:

 

Frame King’s Cross – This popular gym has two standalone locations right around the corner from each other – one packed with studios for fitness, Barre, dance, Reformer Pilates and Personal Training, and the other solely dedicated to yoga. There is a huge variety of feel good, energetic and fun-filled classes to choose from. These run from 6am everyday and range from 30 minutes to two hours, so it’s easy to fit in a lunch time workout, or dedicate a whole afternoon to your fitness. The gym’s state-of-the-art facilities also include modern changing rooms equipped with power showers stocked with REN shampoo, conditioner and body wash, plus GHD hair straighteners and hairdryers.

 

Equilibrium – This modern studio is located in the beautiful new King’s Cross development and is known to offer the best TRX classes in London, which are designed to develop strength, endurance, speed, and flexibility. The high-intensity workouts are taught by two highly qualified trainers who monitor technique and form throughout. Each class is 45 minutes long, making it an ideal lunch time workout. Members can use the well-equipped changing rooms which feature power showers, digilock lockers, vanity tables with dyson hair dryers, and straighteners.

 

MW5 Fitness – This bootcamp-style fitness programme offers some of London’s most unique group classes. The classes take place at 10am and 6pm on most days and are based outside, underneath the incredible West Handyside Canopy in King’s Cross. Each class is 45 minutes and involves flipping tyres, slinging kettlebells, battling ropes and a whole lot more – you can get fit and have fun while experiencing outdoor fitness at its finest.

 

Clerkenwellbeing – This stylish studio focuses on Yoga, Mat Pilates, Meditation, Feldenkrais, Chi Kung and Functional Circuit training and is home to one of the most renowned Pilates studios in London: Pilates Yoga Movement. This spacious and fully-equipped Pilates studio offers one-to-one and small group classes by a team of dedicated and highly qualified teachers. This ensures the highest-level of teaching and allows individual attention and adjustments. The studio is light and airy with an intimate, welcoming feel.

 

Flykick – Flykick is a luxury boutique fitness studio offering fun boxing-inspired group exercises classes in Central London.
